Meet Jesus

There’s a women that frequents the Mission for meals, pastry snacks and clothes. Let’s call her Sally. She was in our shelter for quite a while, until we got her into permanent housing.

Sally suffers with a unique mental illness and other health issues. She’s 50 something, very heavy and has no teeth. Her voice is extremely loud and often intrusive. Although she is seldom real trouble to us, there is a way about her that just gets your nerves.

Mathew 25: 37 and following is saying, in my paraphrased liberty… “The righteous said, Lord, when did we see you hungry, thirsty, a stranger, sick and needing a friend? Jesus answered “Today, I was Sally”.

Drop by the Mission sometime. You might just get to see Jesus face-to-face!
